Manufacturing in the USA still matters, California too!

September 19th, 2013

surfer San DiegoFew people realize that if we purchased just 1% more in “Made in USA” products, it would create 250,000 new jobs.  For every dollar spent on a Made in USA product, that same dollar generates another $1.40 in revenue. It’s called the Multiplier Effect.

California is an ideal place for manufacturing, and while we did not make the USA Today list for the 10 States where manufacturing still matters, we have noticed a lot of companies moving their companies to San Diego.

Last year California got a ‘C’ in Manufacturing while states like Indiana got an ‘A’ and Hawaii got an ‘F’.  We might have a ways to go, but I believe San Diego’s grade point average will be bumped up in the coming year.  Why?  We have a strong economy, diverse population, and world-renowned location.

FlexSystems USA, Inc. is a premier importer and manufacturer of custom plastic and rubber products. We use flexible 2D and 3D custom process-sew to manufacture tailor-made emblems for bags, key chains, polo shirts, and other promotional items.  We are located in El Cajon, CA.
