HEAT SEAL APPLICATION-  USA MADE 2D HEAT SEAL PARTS

1. USE APPROPRIATE HEAT SEAL EQUIPMENT TO ADHERE THE FLEXSYSTEMS LABEL TO YOUR PRODUCT.
2. APPLY TOP HEAT. PLS. PLACE A THIN BARRIER OVER THE LABEL TO PROTECT IT FROM MELTING. APPLY HEAT.
3. Bottom heat may be applied as well. Test accordingly.
4. A trick that we do is quickly wipe the label bottom across the iron to”activate” the heat seal. It makes it easier to place and gets the bond going.
5. WARM UP THE SURFACE OF THE PRODUCT YOU WILL ADHERE THE LABEL TO.
6. APPLICATION TEMPERATURE OF 325F-375F HAS PROVEN TO BE THE BEST FOR MOST FABRICS. BUT FEEL FREE TO TEST THIS EITHER HIGHER OR LOWER.
7. DWELL TIME O 10-15 SECONDS AS APPROPRIATE TO THE FABRIC.
8. 60-80 PSI AS APPROPRIATE TO THE FABRIC TYPE AND THICKNESS.
9. PLEASE VARY THE ABOVE TO FIND YOUR BEST SETTINGS IF INITIAL TESTING IS NOT SUCCESSFUL.

NOTE: Please test your product with the 2d USA parts to ensure you are satisfied with the bond for the particular use you have in mind.

Best materials for this part are typically cottons, polyester, cotton/poly blends.

Temperature, pressure and dwell time will depend on the material and type of product being decorated.

1. USE APPROPRIATE HEAT SEAL EQUIPMENT TO ADHERE THE FLEXSYSTEMS LABEL TO YOUR PRODUCT.
2. APPLY TOP HEAT. PLS. PLACE A THIN BARRIER OVER THE LABEL TO PROTECT IT FROM MELTING. APPLY HEAT.
3. WARM UP THE SURFACE OF THE PRODUCT YOU WILL ADHERE THE LABEL TO.
4. APPLICATION TEMPERATURE OF 120-160 F HAS PROVEN TO BE THE BEST FOR MOST FABRICS. BUT FEEL FREE TO TEST THIS EITHER HIGHER OR LOWER.
5. DWELL TIME 10 SECONDS AS APPROPRIATE TO THE FABRIC.
6. 60-80 PSI AS APPROPRIATE TO THE FABRIC TYPE AND THICKNESS.
7. PEEL OFF THE CARRIER PAPER COLD.
8. PLEASE VARY THE ABOVE TO FIND YOUR BEST SETTINGS IF INITIAL TESTING IS NOT SUCCESSFUL.
