Fightin’ First 10 year reunion with Custom PVC Patches with VELCRO® brand fasteners!Pictured above is the Infantry platoon officially designated as 1st Platoon, B company, 2/87 Infantry Battalion of the 10th Mountain Division, known to its members and those with whom it served as “the Fightin’ First.” I was honored to serve as a member of this brotherhood from 2002-2004, including during a deployment (as part of a larger task force) to Afghanistan in 2003-2004.
Throughout the years the men pictured here gave over 175 years in service to our country, with some still serving today. They deployed more than 80 times to combat zones, 6-7 times by a few. Some were injured in combat, and all served with honor. All of these men made it home, although not all are here today.
These wonderful men are meeting up in Las Vegas at the end of September and they called us about our USA made custom PVC Patches with VELCRO® brand fasteners. After hearing their story, we donated the patches to the platoon. It was the least we could do.
