A fun and timeless way to decorate your Letterman jackets, pillows, outerwear and school parkas. We have even created a small Chenille sew on patch for a hip tote and it looked great ! For college and grade school teams to membership clubs and similar groups, the Chenille Patch never goes out of style.
We use a combination of tufted yarns that create a plus, 3D texture. Our backing is usually felt or twill materials that are very durable. The yarns we use are a blend of acrylic, cotton and wool and we can match pantone colors quite well.
Many have called the texture a caterpillar like look and thus the name in French is “chenille” which means caterpillar.
Your edge around the patch can be the standard felt or we can use a satin stitch. And if you need added detail to the patch, we can embroider portions of the design for you.
The backing on your custom Chenille patch can be blank or we can add heat seal or an adhesive if you like.
